Prepare for Winter Weather. Northshore School District has implemented two important changes to district procedures this year to better serve families during severe weather:

1. Two-hour late start for all grades, if there is a school delay.
2. Families will receive a telephone message if there is a school delay or closure. 

Review the changes to the 2010-11 Snow and Ice Bulletin. If your child rides the bus to or from school, please review the alternate bus routes for inclement weather with your child. These routes will only be used when the district is running on snow routes. Route information is available online or by contacting the district Transportation Department, 425.408.7900.
Parents are encouraged to update their contact information with their child's school if they have changed their phone numbers so the district can notify them in the event of a school delay, closure or emergency.
