-Raising Funds for the 2010-2011 & 2011-2012 School Years

A BIG thank you from the PTSA!

  Thank you to all of you who supportedour “Fall Gala” NJH auction! Everything went very smoothly and we raised approximately$30,000. Kudos to Northshore! The bulk of this money will be used for teacherclassroom grants to supplement classroom programs, curriculum etc….

   I would like to personally thank a “few”people. To our awesome auction committee, KelleWinkler, Nikki Sharnbroich, Leslie Hayton, Joy Sorichand Sidney Pepple, I could not have pickeda more dedicated, organized group of ladies to plan this event. The homeroom teachers at NJH, who gotthe kids so excited and collected the donations for the baskets. Mrs. Sandberg and her students, for creatingthe cute video for us. Valerie Spenser,Alice Chun and all of the parents who diligently showed up every Wednesdayand did a lovely job getting all of the baskets beautifully packaged anddisplayed.  Bob Hayton for volunteering to MC the event and doing such adynamic job! Shannan Savage and Lisa Visse for putting together the lovely centerpieces anddecorations that brightened up the tables. MadelinePepple who put together and ran the PowerPoint presentation for the liveauction items. Josh Sanchez and Stacy Cho for coming to support the auction and for helping withtear down and clean up. Cindy Eadson, headcustodian for being at our beck and call. Allof the committee chairs, who helped to organize their volunteers, collectprocured items and execute this large event. To the NJH students and the Inglemoor Key Club, we appreciate allyou did to help us during our event! You all worked so hard and we hope you hadfun too. Jay Fiske, from ourconsulting company (also the auctioneer)and his support staff, we see why you make the “big bucks”. To our NJH community, who donateditems, came and shopped and shopped and shopped, we heartily thank you becausewithout you, we could not have done it!! Last but not least, thank you to myCo-President, Susan Schilling whohelped out on so many committees and was available to all of us for months andon the event night, you are the best!

If there are any items you wish to donate to benefit the auction, please don't limit it to just the theme baskets. 

These can include items for live auction:

  • Vacation properties
  • Items with higher values
  • Season tickets
  • Gift certificates
  • Wine tastings
  • Restaurants and services
  • Shredding for filler and long rolls of clear cellophane
  • Please make sure items are new

Calling all ladies with baskets or any empty containers hanging around in the garage, please consider donating them for the auction baskets. Send them in to the office with a note attached, for Titan auction.
